BSIS Guard Card Certification

This state-mandated certification is required for all security professionals in California. Issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS), it ensures that security officers have undergone comprehensive training in legal compliance, de-escalation techniques, situational awareness, and emergency response protocols. This certification also covers ethical responsibilities, conflict resolution, and the legal use of force, equipping security personnel with the knowledge to handle high-pressure situations professionally and lawfully.

BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit

Security personnel holding this permit are authorized to carry and use a firearm while on duty, provided they comply with California state regulations. To obtain this certification, candidates must complete rigorous training in firearm safety, marksmanship, legal responsibilities, and threat assessment. The course covers situational judgment training, live-fire qualification exams, and decision-making under duress. This ensures that only highly responsible and well-trained professionals are permitted to carry a firearm in high-risk security environments.

Carry Concealed Weapons (CCW) Permit

This state-mandated certification is required for all security professionals in California BSIS and multi states. Issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS), this credential ensures that security officers have undergone extensive training in legal compliance, de-escalation techniques, situational awareness, and emergency response protocols. This certification also includes ethical conduct standards and use-of-force regulations, equipping security personnel with the knowledge to handle high-pressure situations professionally and lawfully.

HR-218 Certification (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act - LEOSA)

This federal-level certification, also known as HR-218, permits qualified active and retired law enforcement officers to carry a concealed firearm nationwide, regardless of local state restrictions. To maintain this credential, individuals must demonstrate continued firearm proficiency, legal compliance, and situational awareness training. This certification is crucial for former law enforcement professionals working in executive protection and private security operations.

Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Certification

This advanced medical training certification equips security professionals with the skills necessary to provide life-saving trauma care in high-risk environments. The training covers hemorrhage control, airway management, wound care, and emergency triage for mass casualty incidents. TECC ensures that security personnel can administer immediate medical aid during crises before emergency medical services arrive, making them an essential asset in emergency preparedness.

De-Escalation Certification

This certification provides security professionals with conflict resolution skills, crisis intervention strategies, and advanced verbal de-escalation techniques. Training includes recognizing behavioral triggers, using body language for non-violent conflict resolution, and managing high-stress situations calmly and professionally. Security professionals who obtain this certification are equipped to mitigate potential threats without unnecessary force, ensuring the safety of clients and bystanders.

Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) Certification

This specialized driving certification is designed for security professionals responsible for executive transport, high-risk extractions, and secure travel operations. Training includes defensive driving techniques, evasive maneuvers, high-speed emergency response, and accident avoidance strategies.
